Balance Beam

The other day Heidi was trying to walk on the back of the couch, so I told her she needed to find something else to balance on, like a balance beam. I knew we had a spare 2x4 board upstairs, so I got it out and she balanced on that. Thomas thought it was fun, but wanted more of a challenge, so he went out to the garage and got some scrap boards to put under it and raise it up. Eventually I think they had it resting on two food storage buckets. Sometimes all it takes is a little redirection and creativity.
